Just went to my local EE store about an hour ago for an upgrade and they said I should get an email to confirm it but as yet have received anything. Bit concerned if my order has gone through as I’ve ordered an iPhone 13 pro max

Just phoned customer service and they can’t see any orders, suggesting I went back to store which I did, they said it can be up to 72 hours to receive the confirmation email, that’s 4 days out of the 7 days delivery. That can’t be right, so if my order didn’t go through do I then have to wait another 7 days expected delivery which could we’ll change to even longer. Help!!!!!

Have been twice now, EE staff just said I will not get an email now, so I questioned whether order had been placed and without looking on his iPad assured that it had been, asked for an order number but didn’t bother just said I’ll get a text when you phone arrives in store. Asked if I could cancel he said no, have to wait for my phone to come in then cancel, is this true?

No, only a receipt for the £25 deposit, again question asked to staff member and was told the receipt is the only paperwork I should have. The are blaming head office for all this and out of their hands.

If you reach the estimated seven days timescale then the store should be able to provide an update. They should either be able to see a delay on your order, or they will have received your order and be able to give it to you.
Either way you should be able to get an update soon.
