I get a great signal on PlusNET sim only - which piggy backs EE. I get aweful Broadband as I live in a rural location and stuck with BT Copper Line and NO fibre options...
Been using Three Unlimited for £18 a month in a 4G Router. Bit unreliable but better speeds than BT but not as good as EE offer (via my phone anyway)..
SO... trying to buy the unlimited SIM only deal for £35 per month... The EE website is a headache and isn't easy to use.
This link shows the deal BUT if I click BUY, it loads another page with no checkout options. It's a really poorly designed website IMO.
https://shop.ee.co.uk/mobile-phone-deals/unlimited-sim-only-deals
but BUY now just dumps me on https://shop.ee.co.uk/
Has anyone been able to buy this SIM and use in a 4G Router OK?

You may use an unlimited data phone SIM in a mobile router and others have done so.

Hi there @webgeeze
Thanks for coming to the community.
Could you try loading the EE Shop in a new web browser after clearing cache and cookies, do you get the option to purchase the SIM Only plan?
If not, please get in touch with our Mobile Care team they will help you get this ordered.

Same issue on other computers and phone. I can add other sim only to basket but not this unlimited plan. I did try phoning but lost the will to live after 30 mins and hung up. Tried before last year to join EE but always find it a struggle 🤷♂️
thanks for responding. I will persist .... for a bit

Let me know how you get on @webgeeze
Can I just check have you tried using the filter for the unlimited data on the EE Shop?
Speak soon 🙂

😞 No joy at all...
Trying to buy the Unlimited Sim Plan for £35 and just unable to.
No one answers the phone... Tried 6 times this morning and it just hangs up on me.
The website fails to allow me to add Unlimited SIM to basket (fails on iMac, MBP and even phone). It's unreal how difficult it is to join EE.
Normally, if I had this sort of hassle I'd just give up and use someone else, but in order to get the EE Speeds I want, I am stuck.
Any ideas?

I suspect that offer is old and not valid now, which is why it redirects you to the shop page.
Maybe wait till next Friday and see if there's a Black Friday unlimited deal? If not, it's £37 here.

Thanks for the URL. I will check it out. Seems mad, the website allows me to access deals it can't honour. If I 'search' Unlimited Sim in their website, it comes up as the first option.
I'd actually buy an iPhone 11 with Unlimited Plan but I don't want it on a contract. I'd pay upfront for the whole 2 years but no option for that either. Inflexible EE 😞 They don't want my money it seems lol

Well, that is EE's policy but there is nothing to stop you from buying a phone outright from elsewhere and going 'sim only. That's what I always do.
