Hi I have a p30 Pro. I need to go to India. How do I use my current EE sim card for data abroad? I have a huawei dongle unlocked?

Hi @Cosmickitten,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Rather than having to keep switching your SIM between your phone and dongle, you can use your phone's built in WiFi hotspot capability to share your mobile data connection with other devices.
Just drag two fingers down your screen to activate your Hotspot. To see your Hotspot's name, password etc. just hold the Hotspot symbol.
You'll need to buy a roaming data add-on to use mobile data in India. Please see Roaming costs for India for more details.
Hope this helps.

@Cosmickitten : As the dongle is unlocked wouldn't it be far cheaper and more convenient to get a local data SIM to use in it?

Thank you for the responses. As India/Mumbai is in lock down am not sure that the local SIM place at the airport will be open nor if I can get a sim card from a shop. I have so much UK data that I don't use but I don't want to have to buy another add on for £6 a day. Some of my stay will be in a hotel so I can get wifi but I will need to travel etc.
So am not sure how the mobile hotspot works. Can I then also use when I am using an uber as where I have to go may not have Internet. Sorry am a bit clueless

Your UK data is no use to you outside EU. As @James_B said you will need to buy a roaming data add-on.
You may hotspot your phone anywhere you can get a signal.
