Doorbell needs to run on 2G

How do I get 2G for my super dooper doorbell to work, when the broadband I have is 5G?  Thanks....oh, and you're speaking to an absolute dumb ass when it comes tec stuff, soz.  Cheers.

@Duh   That’s 2.5Ghz not 2G and you trying to connect your doorbell to the 5Ghz WiFi that your router is broadcasting.   In the list where you connect the doorbell to the router you should see your router name and you want to connect it to the one that doesn’t have 5Ghz at the end of it.

@Duh , you will also need to make sure that when you set up the ring door bell, that in settings, Wifi on your phone it is connected to 2.4ghz or if like me, you are using an extender, set that up until you have got the doorbell working. Cannot help you will your router, but @XRaySpeX can, as he is the expert.
