Data not working

I have 5G of data on my current plan. Since I got an iPhone 11 I cannot use my data for browsing the internet. All my social media apps work but not the internet. Can anyone help me?!

Does your iPhone browser (Safari?) have the relevant mobile data permissions active?

 

Have you restarted your phone?

Keep in mind the iPhone 11 does not support 5G, only 4G and below - The mobile data should be working for Safari - but try download Microsoft Edge from the App store and try that as an alternative and see if it works there

 

I only mentioned about the 5G as I know you have to pay more to access 5G on EE

I have reset my phone but that didn’t help. How can I check the permissions are correct?

Is the 5G of data you're referring to the amount of your allowance you have to use (5Gb) or the actual 5G technology? Totally different things.

Setting -> mobile data and scroll down to make sure Safari is on that list and toggled on

 

But as I stated, try a different browser
