Hi. My contract is due to end on 10th September. I don't want it to continue as a rolling contract because I'm changing to a new provider. I have already been given a Pac code but have decided not to transfer my number. Will my contract end automatically?

The simple answer is no.
You need to contact EE giving 28 days notice to cancel.
But you may be better using the Pac code at the end of your contract.

@cmj1954 Requesting a pac code and not using it means you’ll continue to pay until you give notice or you request a STAC code and you give that code to your new provider.

Then you need your STAC from EE instead of a PAC. Give that to your new provider & it will auto cancel your EE contract.

Just by means of terminology and to add to the advice already given, EE mobile contracts are not fixed term ones that arbitrarily end.
They are ongoing contracts with a minimum term. You will therefore need to do one of 3 things to stop your contract continuing..
1: Obtain a STAC from EE, give this to your new provider to cancel your EE contract & number without transferring it.
2: Obtain a PAC from EE, give this to your new provider to cancel your EE contract & number and transfer it.
3: Contact EE C/S and give 30days notice to disconnect.
1 & 3 have the same net result.
