You claim directly from Google.
You need to make your claim between 14 and 40 days after your preorder and will need your proof of purchase and IMEI number.

What do we use/show as proof of purchase, for over the phone orders - forgive me if I'm being slow, but what do we actually use?

Hi there @Patrick_Rice
Thanks for coming back to the community.
Did you receive an email confirming your order?
If not, do you have the delivery note that was in the bag with your phone?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

The email confirming order just says "Google" so Google could argue it was an older device.
And the printed sheet in the bag, doesn't include actual order date to prove ordered during eligible period.
I've had this before with EE, where no one single means proves all that is required.
In the end today I just elected to send LOTs of items - the Email, the Delivery Note without order date, a copy of my bill, and a screenshot of the order tracking online. Hopefully across all combined, Google wont complain.
Have EE never produced an actual "Order Document" that has all of the relevant info in one single place though?

You say Google could just say it's an older device.
Have you had that in the past?
As I never had an issue with claiming a free gift from Samsung with an email confirmation order.

I've only ever claimed Samsung items in the past. This is my first such from Google.
But I've hopefully covered it, as already said, by sending a whole raft of documents.
Which leads back to my question - do EE ever do a proper Receipt, Invoice, or Order Confirmation that contains all of the relevant details in one place?

@Patrick_Rice that leads to my answer I have given the email order confirmation as proof with no issues. I never had to give anything else.
