Can you still use your old mobile on the new contract I have

I upgraded my mobile last December, and have a 24 month contract at £21 a month with 9 GB of data on the Samung A21S.  However I have had to stop using it as I cannot make calls.  Is it still okay to use my old Lenovo Moto G6 Play mobile with my current new contract?  I hope I am not in breach of it, as the return window to send my new phone back as expired?
