Can I have an eSIM with Pay-As-You-Go?

Hello, if I am on PAYG is it possible to convert my SIM to an eSIM, or is this restricted to contract customers? Thanks.

eSIM is currently only available to pay-monthly customers.

So I am now going to be looking for a provider who offers eSIM with PAYG .
