Can I get my number back

Can anybody help me?

i was previously with the network id but my contract was coming to an end. As there was no suitable upgrades, I took out a new contract with EE. I requested my pac from id which they sent me and I followed the process of sending it to EE via text. It said it would take a few days. Almost 2 weeks passed and my number still hasn’t transferred. I had put this down to the fact I still had a month left on my contract from Id at the time I requested so planned to request it again nearer the time it was up. I completely forgot and my contract ended on June 13th. Because of this, I can no longer use my previous phone to text Id for a new pac. They are completely unavailable to contact right now.
Is it possible to request the number I want from EE before it is given to somebody else?
I really need this number, it is used as the main contact point for my sons medical team.

Thanks in advance

Hi

From my knowledge, when you give the PAC to EE, it'll start the transfer and terminate your old contract - as the number can't belong to two contracts at once.

If your old contract ended on June 13th, it should keep rolling and charging you until you terminate it, so you may be able to request another PAC code.

How could you have sent the PAC to EE by text? There is no such avenue.
