Hi a court order has been approved to go through my call history. I am on pay as you go. I have changed my number and was told by a manager that my history on my old number has been deleted. Is this true or can courts still get hold of this information

Hi @Leigh2022
I'd recommend a read of the EE process for Subject Access Requests here , which will give some idea of the data EE hold for you.
The process for legal & other public authorities is different, and understandably not publicly disclosed. A change of number will not erase any data EE hold on you.

Thanks for your reply. When I asked the manager if any of my history came up on the old number, she said only the history from the new number is showing. When she types in old number, nothing comes up. So is this wrong information?

The courts and other legal authorities have different processes to customer-facing C/S agents.
Those processes are only known to those who have valid needs to know.

Thank you @bristolian
Ok I've been reading that they only hold records for 30 days. Is this also wrong?

Not quite! They only display usage to you in your MyEE for up to 30 days.

So I'm pretty F'd then lol

Doesn't follow! What they display to you & what they keep are 2 diff things.

Hi @Leigh2022,
Welcome to the community 🙂
@bristolian and @XRaySpeX have already given you all of the right information.
What is held on our system when you call, what you can see on My EE and what data is available to retrieve via a court request are all different.
Your legal representation will be able to gain access to what is needed and they will be able to request this for you.
Alex 🙂
