Hello, I pre-ordered the Google Pixel 5 and we are meant to receive Bose Headphones, but I not heard anything from EE. I have had the phone for a few days now, so when do we receive a notice about headphones?

If EE should have contacted us already, who do I speak to about this issue.

Thanks

@Shadow_Tail   You should receive a text in around 14 days after you get the phone.

Hi

I can tell you that you are in for a loooooong wait my friend. Google are not interested in giving away free £300 headphones at least not while they are worth that much. I sent my proof of purchase and actively checked back to the google track my claim site and NOTHING changed for weeks and then just tonight I checked just on the off chance

( because the company that has its own email is gmail infrastructure CANT SEND AN EMAIL) low and behold there is a problem with my proof of purchase. Apparently they employ a room full of Moles because the documents I uploaded was too blurry. Nonsense it was perfectly legible even if I good my phone two feet away I can clearly read it. EE Moderators listen up GOOGLE IS PULLING A FAST ONE. IF MY EARPHONES ARE NOT HERE IN A WEEKS TIME I PROMISE TRADING STANDARDS WILL BE NOTIFIED AND GOOGLE WILL NOT BE IN THE FIRING LINE. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING. i wouldn't mind if the phone was any good but wow what a waste of my money.

I still haven't received my headphones yet and I put my order in 15 days after I received the phone. Guess we will have to wait 60 days for them 😕

That's awful. So what did they say to do, do you have to re-upload it again?

I've been waiting a good while for mine. I also put my claim in 14 days after receiving my Pixel 5. I was wondering how long it took for them to send it out, 60 days seems like a really long time.

I have uploaded it again. but it will be a big surprise to me if they accept it. The first document was absolutely fine and not in anyway blurry as they stated. I suspect they are just aiming to delay and delay until that model of Bose headphones is no longer worth  £300. This is an outright con to quickly pre-sell a phone they knew would be slaughtered when influencer got their hands on them. Coming from a Huawei the phone leaves a lot to be desired not even the headphones will make up for that. I will never buy another Pixel phone and I will likely change the service provider next renewal date. EE has just sold out on this and they THINK its not their problem but it is and will do a lot of damage. I have spent thousands with this company. The 5G coverage is slower than 4G and fleeting at best this is the only reason I 'Upgraded' in the first place.

Hi there @Reecerice

Thanks for coming to the community.

Can you let me know how you get on after uploading the document again?

Thanks.

Leanne.

Can I just say that ONLY the delivery of the headphones is the solution

I understand @Reecerice

In regards, to your 5G coverage, does this happen in more than one area?

Also, what does our coverage checker show for 5G in your area?

Leanne.
