Hello so I've lost my Apple iPhone 11 pro max 512GB sadly, however I have had insurance taken out on it from Taurus insurance who have told me I need few documents such as proof of usage, receipt etc.. lastly they asked for Proof of Blacklist which has to come from my network provider (EE) this sim card which I had lost inside the phone, Pay as you go I had purchased and topped up. EE have told me we cannot blacklist any device not purchased from EE, but my Insurance company are saying they are wrong and that EE are the ONLY ones able to blacklist my device. They've both been sending me back and forth I don't know what to do or who to believe.

It depends on how long you used your device in the network.
Your insurers will be looking at your claim as potentially suspicious as you own an expensive handset which you have allegedly lost and are only using a PAYG sim.
You might need to escalate your claim to the financial ombudsman service.
Thanks

Thanks for coming to the community.
Did you use the EE SIM card in the iPhone to make calls, or send texts before this was lost?
Have you used any other EE SIM card in the phone or another networks SIM?
Leanne.
