I bought a BT Portable Wi-fi Hotspot, and I'm wondering if a EE Sim card will work in it, considering that BT works on EE

It should work fine as BT are a MVNO on the EE Network. if you get issues though you may have to Login to th the Admin Page and check or change to APN / Profiles to the EE APN.
