Apple Watch size exchange

I received the 44mm Apple Watch SE as a Christmas present.

I’m so happy to have one however, I have quite small wrists, 145mm, and I find it a bit bulky. I prefer smaller watches so I think the 40mm would definitely suit my wrist and style better. 

It was brought in store as part of a deal, I was wondering what the policy is on exchanges. The account holder can / will call asap (tomorrow morning) but I thought better to ask here if it might save some waiting time to be told nothing can be done... Fingers crossed that’s not the case!

There is no exchange policy for items purchased in store unless the device is faulty.
