Apple Watch - set up mobile data

Please can anybody help? I recently got a new iPhone SE and since then my Apple Watch is unable to take/receive calls unless it is within range of my iPhone. I have a separate data plan for the watch and it worked perfectly with my old iPhone 6 but I think I need to set up mobile data on the new iPhone. Does anyone know how to do this?
