Apple just announced series 6 available 18th in UK

nothing showing on EE yet , still advertising the series 5 🤦🏽‍♂️
Any news on when we will be able to order and pricing EE?

I presume you mean the SE version, which is cheaper than the others and does not have all the features.

if your message was meant for me then no I was referring to the SS as in Stainless Steel. Sorry I should have made that clearer. I was going to buy the titanium from Apple directly but just couldn’t justify the cost and I was hoping by ordering the steel from EE I would get it tomorrow.

Well after speaking to a really helpful

adviser at EE it turns out that SS orders that were cancelled were due to a glitch on their system with the £36pm contracts. For some reason they weren’t set up properly. 

Have just reordered my SS watch again and have had everything confirmed. 

Good news for everyone who has ordered an aluminium watch as he told me that they are all in stock right at this moment and only the SS ones have an unknown lead time.

@atomic25 Thank you for the update, this will help to let people know, that they are not sure when they will be available, but can be pre-ordered. I believe EE had a problem with their website this morning and that is why some of us had our orders cancelled, as they came out as new lines and were not doing upgrades, but once I spoke with them EE did my order and mine is coming tomorrow. Hope you get yours soon, this is down to the supplier, which is Apple, so blame them.

@Gomrathb , I saw the event on Apple, which you can watch, I believe there, all about the new watches and saw the red watch, it is also a matter of opinion, which you prefer of course. I once bought the seethru case from Amazon, and gave up with one of my previous watches, will have a look to see if they are any different this time round.

It’s annoying as the EE website still says the stainless steel is in stock. It’s very misleading.

To be fair to them, the second the apple store came on line shipping for the series 6 was 24th - 28th September so the delay may not be an eye issue or even make any material difference

Looks like they have resolved the issue with the SS 44mm graphite orders as I just received a text confirming my order and status in the link shows order confirmed . Now waiting to see how long before EE get stock in . Seen some people ordering aluminium watches are receiving them tomorrow. Enjoy you new watches 👍

@Schockwave Yeah I saw the launch too. But I didn’t realise how bright it actually was until I saw it on a few videos on YouTube. I guess I was expecting a less bright red. More like the XR product red. Yeah I’ve used some covers called uPeak. They come in a see-thru and black in a pack. I’ve used 3 since last sept (a little clumsy sometimes and scratch or dent the case which isn’t pretty - these have saved me more times than I care to mention). For £5.99 for 2 can’t go wrong at all tbh.
