I'd say, likely tomorrow, they need time to make all the adverts/advertising for Facebook, Twitter, IG, etc

Todays event was announced a week ago, it’s not like EE were not made aware it was coming.
even on the Apple UK website EE is listed.
possibly they are still trying to shift the last few Series 5 watches they still have.

That's possible, I mean, Apple themselves are still trying to shift left over stock from the Series 3, I highly doubt they make them NEW anymore.

I’ve just purchased a series 6 through Apple, any ideas how I can add a data plan for it or would I need to phone up?
TIA

Apple are continuing the 3 the same way the continue some of the older iPhones some people like the older design more

Apple release very little information to the networks in advance. The launch is often the first most of the staff will know the specifics. If everyone knew in advance then it would be leaked even more than the planned leaks that happen already.

If it’s a cellular version, when you pair with your phone it will prompt you to add a network provider. In this case EE. a small window will pop up and ask you to verify you want to pay £7 a month (3 months unltd data then 10Gb thereafter) etc. Then it will give you the option to add to plan. Once that’s done it should take a few mins to activate. When the phone updates and says ready for cellular - your in business. If you’ve already got a Apple Watch contract with EE, you will need to ring support and give them the EEID and serial etc of the Apple Watch you’ve bought so they can issue a new E-Sim for your new Apple Watch continuing on your existing contract.
hope that helps! Looking forward to getting my Midight Blue watch and hopefully fingers crossed a matching midnight Blue iPhone 12 Pro Max 5G when it’s released.

Better be doing those midnight blue and Product Red colours! Gf was Disappointed last year when they didn’t have the 40mm Nike+ and I was disappointed they didn’t have the Stainless steel like previous years. Apparently not as popular as the aluminium 44mm. Weird.
