Apple Watch Series 5

I’ve just got my Apple Watch which is a add on to my phone contract but the watch doesn’t have its own 4g which is should because it’s a add on and should be using my phone contracts data. I’ve been given a ESim for it to work and when I scan the QR code it says “no useable date found”. I’ve had nothing but problems since ordering my watch

@BradC96   The watch has its own data allowance and doesn’t use your phone data at all.  You don’t need a QR code to set the cellular up on the watch you open the watch app and you set it up from there.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

When I go onto my mobile data on my watch it says “no sim no connection”

and I spoke to a agent on live chat a few days ago and they said that I need a E sim QR code for it to work. My partner has the exactly the same watch as me and is on the exact same contract yet hers is connected to some data and she didn’t have to use a QR code so why has EE sent me one

Hi @BradC96

Thanks for coming to the community.

Have you downloaded the Apple Watch App and began the setup?

This should pair your watch to your current phone contract.

If you receive an error please let me know,

Katie 🙂
