Activate new business sim

Hi there. I have today received my new order. An S20 Ultra. This is a new contract and new number. The phone says "SIM 1 not allowed". The sim is clean and inserted correctly. I have also tried restarting the phone several times.

The EE Sim Activation link does not work as this asks for my old number. This is a new contract so that does not exist.

Thanks

Hi @Pyrolysis

Thanks for coming to the community.

Did you order the Samsung from EE?

Do you have two SIM card slots?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Hi Leanne,

Yes I ordered it directly from EE. And it just has 1 sim slot and another for the memory card.

Hi @Pyrolysis

Thanks for coming back to me.

Can I just check, the SIM card has been placed with the gold-coloured contacts face down in the tray?

If so, please get in touch with our Business Care team they can get this looked into for you 🙂

Leanne.

Yep definitely in the right way. Ok no problem I will give them a call, was hoping it was something simple. Thanks for your time Leanne 🙂
