Accessing SIM number without removing from phone

Is there an MMI code to access SIM card number to save me pulling it out of handset please?

@GBH55    There is no MMI code to access a SIM card or what would be the point of a sim pin to lock a SIM card. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Do you mean the mobile number on the SIM? Just text NUMBER to 150 for it.
