OK thanks for your help, the range extender was my first choice actually, its a TP Link one that has worked on other networks at other addresses but for some reason I can't get the extender and the 4GEE Mini to actually see each other. Both seem to be set up properly but are not linking up. Is there any reason why the 4gee cannot link with the extender, is this a known issue when using mobile wifi boxes rather than a router. Maybe they are just not compatible, does anyone know of a WiFi extender that will work with my device? Unfortunately my hifi streamer will only work via ethernet connection!
