4G Mini Wifi Yellow Box

Good evening

I have had the above box for 2 years and no problem. I have started using it in a remote building to connect to security cameras. The Wifi box is connected to a 12V 120AH deep cycle battery.

My first question is how long will the battery power the device before draining. (How many amps does the mini wifi draw?)

2nd question it charged by a permanent connection to the 12v battery but the mini wifi runs out of power every 24hrs. Is this device faulty?

Hi @PaperRustler67

Welcome to the community.

Do you get a good signal on the device? Poor/fluctuating signal can affect battery life.

How long did the battery last in the old location?

Chris

Yes I get a good signal line of sight vue to the nearest mast. Battery life was typically 4-5 hours.

The mini wifi box has a permanent feed to it from the 12v battery!!  But seems to die after 24 hours??

Please can somebody help me

Hi @PeperRustler67.

Does the power battery run out too?

Does it run our completely, or go into stand-by?

Jon

The supply battery is fill 112.34 volts its the mini wifi battery that fails. This is despite a permanent supply from the main battery.
