2 iPhones, both ring together.

I've recently swapped my EE SIM from an iPhone 6 to a new iPhone 12 and I have put a 3 SIM in the old one.

Now, if someone calls me on the EE number, both phones ring. The message on the old phone says 'from your iPhone', and I can answer the call on either phone.

I didn't know it could do that, and I don't want it to. I can't find anything in settings on either phone, does anyone know how to stop it?

Hi @Caribou

I think this is EE Smart Number, have a read of this and see if you can remove your device?

Thanks, that's the issue resolved.

I didn't set it up, so it must be on by default. I found the setting when I was originally looking but didn't realise that my old phone had the same name as my new one, so thought the name in the setting was just the current phone.

Interestingly EE call it 'EE Smart Number Technology' but it appears  to be an Apple thing, seems like i can use it on my very old iPhone 5 as well!

Thanks again for pointing me to the right place.
