Apple are at fault. EE would have been given numbers by Apple they haven't supplied

So you know 100% that Apple are delivering less units that they told EE would be delivered?

I wonder of if they somehow link a device to a customer, once it comes in - then it's dispatched - this would make sense that a lot of the early orders were missed and that's because that shipment has yet to come in? I dunno it's just rambling at this point

I mean there might be a sight chance Apple took more stock for their stores than what was distributed to carriers. It's up to Apple how much they supply to carriers during launch, with EE being the one with the first dibs

Same, kind of. I had confirmed order email at 13:15  on the 16th. Made my peace with waiting 28 days but thought I’d call and check my order is definitely there and they said the order was completed on the 17th so likely looking at 28+ days. Having said that, I was told 3 weeks before for another iPhone and it came quicker  sooooo……..

That’s what I’ve done this year … EE’s service has consistently gone downhill over the past few years in general; they also seem to be far more expensive than other providers. I’ve already changed out my EE phone  contract to PAYG through another provider, and bought handset directly from Apple online. Got a couple of other contracts (iPad and watch) with EE which I’ll be closing over the coming months. It’s not worth the hassle. Hope your Duo is all you hoped for; mine is arriving tomorrow ☺️.

I got a Duo! But not from EE! After all the  misinformation regarding my order, a different answer every time I called. And a delayed order email today.
I walked right into my local Apple store and got one! Admittedly more memory than I originally wanted.
EE pre order has been cancelled!
So glad I don’t have a tariff with EE and stayed with my original provider.

I  hope you all get your orders in a timely manner.

Nhaaaa I don’t think it will happen sadly,

today I talked with them like 4 times and every time different story

1 operator more than 28 days

2 operator in 14 days

3 operator between tomorrow and Monday they should recive more supply but I highly doubt

Hi all, a super interesting and fun development.

Been talking to exec complaints to figure out when my day of release pre-order would arrive. Today they told me it's going to be picked and sent out in the next couple of days.

The REALLY interesting thing? My upgrade pre-order was placed at 3:45pm or whatever and I got told 21 days. That order was shipped today and is arriving tomorrow !

Hi Leanne

you say this at every new iPhone release. It’s the same old story, systems crashing, wrong info given out. It happens every single year. Why can’t EE learn from this mistakes that happen at every new major release??
