Well, just had notification from DPD of pin and package expected. Burgundy pro max 512.

That's a relief I had zero faith in the phone support guy as I had to explain the upgrade rules to him...

Still can't track anything on EE. They're the only decent network here or they'd have been up the road long ago.

Didn’t get the notification but have checked dpd app and it’s there today. 512g burgundy. Getting delivered to store.

It’s the same as it was two years ago when I did the upgrade. They deliver it to the store the day before, but they can’t release it before Friday. Even if you don’t receive any notification from EE, you should still be able to pick it up without any problems on Friday. 

Just keep an eye on the DPD notifications to see when it’s been delivered, and then go to the store.

By the way, if anyone is having trouble tracking the order, try opening the link in a new private/incognito window. It works without any problems every time. Just make sure you completely close the tab before trying again.

Just had the texts from EE about the new contract -

Checked my DPD app and apparently it’s due for delivery tomorrow to the store I selected (weird that it’s saying due tomorrow for delivery since launch day isn’t until Friday?)

No notifications from DPD yet but tracking is live on DPD app!

Had a right faff on Saturday 12th because I got into the phone queue at 12:59pm, first guy answered and hung up on me immediately, second guy ran through the full order and refused to waive the upgrade fee even though I ordered on preorder day last year, and third guy was lovely and sorted the order quickly AND waived the upgrade fee - order confirmed at 2:45pm on Saturday 12th - fingers crossed it all goes smoothly from here!

Getting text messages now welcoming me to my new all rounder plan, another hoping I am enjoying my new plan, another about one of my discounts has ended (I will call to ensure my other discount carries over)

so things are happening before receiving the new phone 😄

Thanks for the heads up, I also have a store delivery and see it in the DPD app.  Same as you, it is showing delivery tomorrow to the EE store address

No texts as of yet but the ability to upgrade my phone has finally gone off my account, so something must be happening! Toyed with paying for VIP on Friday but last time I got mine 9am so I think I'm just going to roll the dice and see!
