Hello dear Ee community people, is that time of the year again, pre ordering the new iPhones and Apple Watch, as you all know the apple event is going on live right now and they are presenting the new iPhones and Apple Watches, I have made this thread so everyone can be updated on every single information for the upcoming days, so follow this thread and keep updated, I received a lot of views last year on my previous thread that was viewed more than 1.65000 views thank you for your support and love.

After calling them, Ive got a text:

”Hi from EE

Order for iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB Cosmic Orange placed on 12 Sep 2025. Order is in the process of being sent to the courier at this point.
Thanks.”

Doesn’t look automated, maybe they got annoyed about my calls

Nice, I think most Air orders should be fine based on the volume in the tracker. Pro Max is far more likely to have long waits.

Unfortunately they do the same every year and it's pretty much meaningless. They say what they need to say to get you off the phone / live chat.

It's similar to when they pull the "I've spoken to the warehouse" card.

It'll be tomorrow you'll know if you can expect it on Friday, that's when the flurry of text messages about plans changing / DPD pins start coming through. Usually from early morning throughout the entire day.

Is it sad that every year at this time, I find myself searching for this thread again? Thanks for putting it together.

I have a question for anyone who has used Upgrade or its predecessor, Annual Upgrade. Every year without fail, I receive the message, “There is a problem with your order. Someone will call you in the next 48 hours.”

This year, the same thing happened, but this time, instead of a call, I received a web chat 72 hours later. This chat took two hours to complete.

The first colleague I spoke to was awful, but the second was amazing.

My questions are:-

Does everyone experience this issue with Anytime Upgrade, or am I the only one?

I ordered my iPhone at 1:04 pm on Friday and took a screenshot at 1:15 pm showing that they were still advertising, “Expect Delivery on Launch Day.” Am I getting my phone on Friday, or is the “problem with your order” a tactic to prioritise new customers?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt anyone can actually help you, have a look at the post just above yours. I’ve upgraded couple times and never got a similar message to you.

The question I would ask is, how are you doing the upgrade anytime? Online or over the phone or via chat? I’m on the upgrade anytime & have been for the last 4 years. I always call in and speak to them over the phone. Never had any issues! By the time the call finished I have a confirmed email of my order.

I did my order add new line sim free iPhone 17 pro max Cosmic Orange online had email within minutes ordered at 1.10pm 12th had email at 1.18.

I'm on upgrade anytime. Always do the upgrade over the phone personally. Never had an issue.

Morning guys!

Just come off the phone tto EE and getting the same response I've been getting over the last few days. We can't tell you anything because we don't know anything...

"DPD take full control and EE aren't apart of the dispatch or delivery process" seems a little bizar to me. But we will wait and see what happens, hopefully some movement today!
