An old friend of mine managed an EE store from 2015-lockdown (now a copper, ew) - he told me they get told as much as the customers get told. Customer service, in-store staff, etc get almost no information. I do find it completely believable that they get sent to EE in waves in unspecified amounts as and when.

with that in mind, EE communicate as much as needed. They cant update you with something when there’s nothing to update you with.

Caved in the end and went to my local Apple Store. Got my 17PM Cosmic Orange 256gb no problem and cheaper monthly than through EE! 

cancelled my order just now, broadband offered, a new model offered, new cheaper monthly line offered …. Eventually I was able to cancel my order!

Does anyone have any idea what’s going on with the I Phone 17 Pro Max pre orders! I placed my order on the 14/09/25 and have only received my initial order confirmed email nothing since I would just like an update as I know the phones are in demand but it says 28 days and I’ve been waiting 28 days now with no more updates to where my device is ?

I ordered mine on the 25th and have got the same email as you. Went into store and they have said 28 days from order.

Yeah I did the same went in store and they said 28 days but it’s been 28 days since I ordered today and I’ve still not had any further updates

It is starting to become ridiculous, I can pick one up from the Apple Store next day but not the point

I made my pre-order on 15.09 for Pro Max Silver 256GB.

On 22.09 I got the ‘order is on track. Then I got ‘your order is coming soon’ on 29.09, followed by ‘your order is on track’ again on 06.10. I then got the email ‘Your order is confirmed but we’re awaiting your expected delivery date’ on 07.10 and heard nothing since. 

These updates seem to mean nothing to be honest. I am based in the North East wondering if there is any stock for Apple up here but it seems like even Apple don’t have this phone in their stores yet.

Won’t be doing this again that’s for sure, it’s absolutely not worth the stress (coupled with getting constant reminders to return my old phone by 16.10 or else lose the discount - and having to wait each time for 45 mins on hold to EE to confirm this is in fact not the case?!)

Having scanned this thread, I feel like I know some of you. Same boat style. 

In any event. 17 PM orange ordered 5 Oct. Just today got a “your order is on track” update. Anyone have any idea what this means? I’m leaving the country at the start of Nov, feel like it will be a close one. Any experiences or thoughts are appreciated.
