iPhone 17 Pro and Pro max Pre order Thread / that time of the year again.

Hello dear Ee community people, is that time of the year again, pre ordering the new iPhones and Apple Watch, as you all know the apple event is going on live right now and they are presenting the new iPhones and Apple Watches, I have made this thread so everyone can be updated on every single information for the upcoming days, so follow this thread and keep updated, I received a lot of views last year on my previous thread that was viewed more than 1.65000 views thank you for your support and love.

My feeling is that all the different timelines, we’ve been hearing, are based  around the colours and variants;

Blue 17 - Launch day 

Orange, Silver 17s - 10 days 

Blue PM- 14 days 

Orange PM - 21 days 

Silver PM - 28 days 

So I suspect, Apple is sending the batches to EE by colour and  the blues are being dispatched this week, the oranges next week and then us silvers are getting ours the week after 😭

Not sure why the screenshot isn’t showing, the response i got was:

Your order's in progress and we're currently working to allocate your device. Once we've done this and it's ready to ship, we'll update you via SMS with your delivery details.

The deliveries started from Sept 19th on first come, first served basis.

The maximum expected dispatch time is 28 days from the date of the order placed.

I do understand that it is a bit longer than normal, but please note that we always give the maximum time to the customers most of the time, it is done much before than that.

Exactly what i have been told earlier today. Word for word, paragraph by paragraph. This is what really bothers me, it’s not the wait but rather the lies and constant bot generic replies from them. One person said they dont have the stock, but another says my order is in the warehouse ready to be picked up. If it’s in the warehouse why would it take 28 days to get dispatched??

I was told "totally honest sir" that they were completely out of stock and that the phone hadn't been released yet by someone on chat. I mean I'm glad he's wrong but I'm with you... my problem with EE right now is principle based.

My 17 PM Silver 1TB was dispatched yesterday. I got the DPD notification last night but I had to arrange delivery for tomorrow as I wasn’t in today to receive it. This was actually a suprise to me as I was told by multiple people that my order wouldn’t be dispatched for at least 28 days. I ordered at around 3pm on 12/09 😊 hope that fills you with a bit of confidence.

I suppose it does fill me with some confidence, ordered a silver 512GB on the 12th at 1430 was hoping it’d be here by now guess I got my hopes up for no reason

There doesn’t seem to be any sort of structure to it. I got told so many different things by different agents online and on the phone I ended up almost cancelling the order and going elsewhere. But then I randomly got the DPD text as I was looking for other options 🤣 I hope you get the long awaited text soon!

Ha ha that throws out that theory then 🤣🤣 I ordered the same time as you and nothing 😭 so it must be by complete random luck of the draw.

Ordered orange pro max 1TB on 13th and just had my text from DPD 🙏🏼 hopefully will come tomorrow
