When I called EE and queried About the 17 pro max I ordered he told me it’s not release day yet wait till tomorrow and ended it

Yep. Unfortunately, this is how it is.

It's frustrating though, I get it. 

I think, especially when placing the orders over the phone, EE could save themselves a lot of hassle by just reiterating that "Expect delivery to you on launch day" is very much best case scenario, and not guaranteed. Their stock estimates that they use to base their website stock levels are best case scenario and aren't guaranteed.

They could also save themselves a lot of hassle by fixing the various issues in the ordering process, such as people not actually receiving order confirmations, resulting in increased calls to CS to obtain order confirmation numbers etc.

My contract has updated on my account now showing my new device/plan my local depot has received my device so it'll be tomorrow for sure I'm on Isle Of Wight pretty small area to cover lol so should be in hand by 10am'ish/also got email confirmation from ee saying order is on its way.

Has anyone had it confirmed their Watch ultra is arriving tomorrow? Doesn’t seem to be anyone and considering you could order the watch the Thursday night, seems a bit concerning. Wondering if DPD text will come through for watches tomorrow morning.

I have received my Watch confirmation and contract has updated for that but ordered iPhone 17 pro max 512 blue at same time and not had any updates for that at all. Very odd, ordered all at 13:29 on the 12th. Not sure what to expect tomorrow.
