I have a new iPhone 17 but it won’t stay paired to Alexa or headphones. They appear in my Bluetooth list but when I try to connect them I have to pair them again every time. If I get Alexa to pair it drops out after a couple of minutes. It’s driving me mad. I’ve changed the battery settings as recommended but is there another setting I’m missing or is there a fault?

It could be a connectivity fault.
Initially I would check for a software update under Settings - General - Software Update. If you don't have an update try resetting the network settings under Settings - General - Transfer Or Reset - Reset - Reset Network Settings

@SueH19 have you tried removing them from you’re paired list and then repairing them from scratch again.

Yes, several times, especially after powering off and restarting everything.

I've tried both those things, but still no luck.

If you've tried those suggestions above and are still having issues, I'd recommend speaking with our technical team so they can look into this further.

I’ve found a work around. I’ve managed to get my devices to stay in my bluetooth list by not clicking on them until each device is in pairing mode (if I do that it disappears from the list). If I am using an audio app instead, I then I can only choose the phone from the app directly - but I can’t ask Alexa to ‘connect to phone’ - this doesn’t work, where it used to on my iphone 13.
