Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

You can find a general discussion thread here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Orders/Iphone-16-pro-16-pro-max-pre-order-thread-that-time-of-the-year...

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

Just had an email saying the phone will be with me between 27th of sept and 1st oct, so atleast i have an update. Still sucks that it wasn't with me on release day like promised.

They didn’t even text me to ask about my order, so if I didn’t make the first move to ask about it, I could have been waiting forever. Really poor communication from them all around.

I decided to join the party late this year. Just ordered today PM 1TB Natural Titanium. Did the order online, and had to call, which happens every year and I still don't know why, but hey ho. Despatch in around 3 weeks so looking at mid October for delivery.

I knew this year would be no different, a nightmare to sort on pre order day, orders not going through properly, people being disappointed. I'm one of the lucky ones and managed to get it on release day for the past 3 years, but I just could'nt be bothered with the faff this time round!

Just got off the phone with EE after placing an order for a Black 1TB PM on Monday the 16th. Had already spoken with them via the web chat regarding delivery as my tracking number just showed awaiting confirmation. They told me to wait another week, however after reading lots of stories of people’s orders not going through I decided to call them today. Chap told me that all the PM are on back order, so I’ve switched to a Pro in same colour and memory. He’s told me it’ll be arriving tomorrow so we’ll see what happens.

i can confirm that they have plenty of Pro’s.

I spoke to them the other day and the guy went thru the whole stock numbers and it was a good amount from each colour.

so you should be good for tomorrow!

Just off the phone to EE. Placed my pre-order on the 16th for the 256GB Pro Max Natural Titanium, was originally told I would receive this by next week. Now being told I would have to wait 21 days and they've got nothing left in the warehouse other than 19 of a particular colour in the standard Pro 😞 They really should be more clearer to customers when pre-ordering and what their wait times will be. Communication from EE is extremely poor.

One thing I experienced with my issues last week with pre-ordering and arguing over a discount that was applied by the Exec Office is the badgering me to take broadband.   Three separate “guides” attempted that with the third doing so when I was moving from hacked off to irate.

Quite a few others on here have now said that they attempted to sell bb when querying and/or complaining.

Are they under that much pressure to sell that they are desperately trying to sell it to customers that EE have hacked off so much?   Do they honestly think a customer will part with more cash to them when they have failed to deliver the initial goods?

The first thing I said to the last person I spoke to last Sunday was please do not try to sell me anything when I’m making a complaint.
