Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

You can find a general discussion thread here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Orders/Iphone-16-pro-16-pro-max-pre-order-thread-that-time-of-the-year...

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

That is fine and its just my option, I just think it adds to the congestion of a new phone launching like this if people who don't really need to upgrade are involved too. Not telling you want todo I just thought someone might give a good reason why they'd wanna go through all this every year for what many people I've seen say isn't a massive difference.

But that's just me and I wont be there for 17 don't worry.

People who don't really need to upgrade.  My money, my choice and my decision.  You don't really get to decide when the time is that I 'Need to upgrade' and then suggest that it's the people using their plan as it is designed that is holding up the queue.

Did you have an EDD on your order tracker? I ordered on the 15th so just trying to gauge when I might get my text lol

So much wrong with this. You don't know the circumsatnce of people upgrading. They could have a broken screen on their iphone 15's and would rather upgarde than pay for a new screen.

Even if their phone is fine, if they want to upgrade, they can. If they're 'adding congestion' then so be it. They got their order in first.

As said just my option, its yours that you need to because its your money, your life, your time and part of your plan so you want to. That's fine, simple a fact that there wouldn't be as many orders and more stock if all the people who got the new one last year was here again.

Everyone is entitled to their own option, even if it doesn't agree with yours.

Clearly is a bit of a touchy subject among you seasoned iphone uses and I've hit a nerve the way you've got your tails up so ill just stop.

Never said it was wrong and you shouldn't do it. Just my option and thought there might be a better reason then just "because I want to" so that is that then. Sorry i asked as this isn't for that kinda debate.

The problem is not you stating your opinion, it's the fact you are clearly trolling to get a reaction out of other users.

You stated your opinion, someone hasn't agreed with it, the correct thing to do is move on. Not continue to state your opinion, saying 'it's just my opinion' to defend your obvious trolling. This forum thread is for those who have pre ordered the iphone 16, if you have nothing helpful to contribute, then don't post. Get on with your day and let us losers talk about not yet having our devices!

If I were to give you my opinion at the moment I'd be banned but you stick to thinking that people who got a phone last year really shouldn't this year because it creates a queue.  Embarassing.

Hell knows how you would cope on O2 where you can get a new handset every ninety days

Trolling because I asked a legitimate question about why people feel the need to upgrade to the new one every year and the very logically conclusion that if those people didn't feel they had todo that it would improve the availability of the devices.

Sorry I asked, this will be my last post about it.
