Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release.
Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

After being told I’d get it on launch, and then when I called on that day, to be told DPD do have the phone, I finally got my 1TB Pro Max Desert Titanium, last night.
Next year, I might just wait.

Thats just the standard placeholder message to make it look like something has happened. They send them out every seven days from the date of ordering until you receive the device.
As the weeks go on the messages get funnier and more desperate to the point they pretty much say don't call us

Tbh I dont really understand why people get the new one every year. There will never be a big enough difference to make it worth it and all Ive heard is people saying its just like the 15. Surely you're better jumping two or 3 at a time, but of course Apple wants you to get the new one every year for the money.
I'm only just coming over to the iPhone from years with Samsung, but even there I never saw the point in getting the new one every year.
Of course if someone wants to enlighten me as to why I'd admit I'm wrong, I just think it doesn't help the kinda backlog we've seen with the 16 if so many people who don't really need to change are changing too.

We get them every year because the majority of us have a Full Works plan and until this year one of the main features of it was anytime upgrade which meant we could get the new one as and when it came out

I usually upgrade every 2 years so am going from a 14 to the 16 as I too think there isn’t enough difference to warranty it 😂

Same here, just upgraded from 14pro, I upgraded early once and seen no major difference so thought no point and for the money you pay why bother. So I’ll see them in 2 years for the 18 😂😂

I get that but just as Jeff Goldblum once said in a film about some dinosaurs " they was so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.”
Maybe just me but I'm just saying there may be people with a 14 or 13 that are having to wait because someone who had a 15 got infront of them.
Anyway enough with my rant, keeping it happy as its iPhone day.

If I can have a new one I'll have it if I want it, for me it's worked out at an extra fiver a month which I'm happy to pay. It's part of the package that I pay for with my money and incase you hadn't noticed even the people with a 15 are having to wait.

This is so f**ed up. So i pre-ordered my Iphone 16 PM on the 14th September. nothing until yesterday, I called to find out when it will be sent, and they told me that they have phones in stock and they can cancel my order and make a new one with delivery for tomorrow and I will definitely receive the phone tomorrow. I was delighted and agreed. today I don't receive any DPD notifications called them they said that it was the new employees who made a mistake lied to me and now they can't do anything, nor restore my order, and a new one will be in 28 days. ok im leaving ee

I was delighted and agreed. today I didn't receive any DPD notifications called them they said that it was the new employees who made a mistake lied to me and now they can't doanything, nor restore my order, and a new one will be in 28 days. they didnt want to solve situation in any way, they just said `"we are really sorry we can't do anything". How should I call it? complete irresponsibility, absolutely disregard for customers. I am very angry tbh. Just wanted to share my exp
