iPhone 16 & 16 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

EE won't give me a tracking number, but they text me a link to track the order. 
I've asked and they're telling me "No you'll get tracking from the 20th". 

This is after pointing out the only confirmation I've had of my order is a text message telling me I can track it... with no order number. So I'm at the mercy of taking their word. I've pointed out too how you all have tracking numbers on here, but uhh nope lol.

I'm this close to telling EE to cancel my entire plan for 3 lines of 10 years and going elsewhere.

Did anyone else go beyond this? Like does it show dispatched for anyone here ?

It won’t do until Wednesday/Thursday. Sometimes it doesn’t even update. Last year I had my phone but that still hadn’t updated

Just got off the phone with EE and here is what they told me:

1. If you order online completely, you will get XKO number, if you order it via the phone partially or fully, you will get a 004 type of number. So no need to worry if you just have XKO number or 004, it is just to differentiate between who did it online and who did it over the phone. 

2. He said, "No one will get it on 20th of September, there is a lot of demand and hence a backlog" but I felt he said that so that because they don't want to confirm it and then have logistics (DPD) delay it. He confirmed TWICE though that it is "First Come First Served" basis, so as long as you ordered it online/over the phone within the first 2-3 hours, we can assume we may get it on launch day or a day after.

Nice - thank you for the update. Really don’t want to get a delivery for the Watch on Friday and be waiting weeks for the phone so hopefully they’ll come close together. 

Got my order in 90 mins after pre-orders opened so wel see! 🤞🏾

Feel your frustration - I would for a couple of days (as hard as it is) pause and do nothing. Wait to see how this week pans out and go from there. By Thursday we should be in a better position to see what’s what and get a better idea of delivery schedules based on when people got order confirmations.

Well another year and another iPhone thread. I feel like an old man with reading all the same questions as previous years.

here is my tuppence worth:

it doesn’t matter if you have a xko or 00 number, you’ll get a text the day before from DPD and you can share your excitement here.

This year will be completely fine for the iPhone. Next year will be a disaster like 2023 and 2021!

customer service agents are brought in especially for the iPhone release on a contract basis, so some of you will get an experienced agent and some of you will get someone 2 days into the job.

Dont bother phoning EE every 2 mins, it won’t make the slightest bit of difference.

Sounds like someone in the call centre has kickstarted the tell them any old baloney tactic.

Last year was a complete meltdown and implosion and even then some orders were received on launch day so I’m struggling to believe no one will receive it on Friday 

I don’t know how they expect anyone to believe some of this nonsense

Seems world gone of nuts 😂 Simply wait for the delivery confirmation from EE or DPD etc. and you get your phone anyway. We can't push them make it quicker in anyway 🤣 Piece and calm to everyone 😜
