Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

 Pre ordered on the 13th at 1:30pm website was a mess but was finally able to check out, its my first time pre ordering through EE and im clueless, i never got a text to contact them or anything so im not sure, any chance it didnt process or any chance it will come on or around launch date

Did you get a confirmation email? If so it’s processed and you’re in the queue. If not you may wanna follow that up! As for when it will arrive is anyone guess. As I mentioned a few posts down, we should get some indication Wednesday/Thursday with movement hopefully for the early birds that got through and had a confirmed order email within 2-3 hours of preorders going live. 

Oh okay thank you for your reply, yeah i got a confirmation email around 2:30 pm on the 13th and just been clueless since to be honest, just waiting now but i appreciate your reply thank you!

Ok so same time as me then. Have you added your order details to the shared spreadsheet? We can keep track of orders better that way and once the first batch on that spreadsheet start getting notifications it gives a clearer picture of when everyone else device is likely to arrive - based on when they received their order confirmation. 

Cheers. Let me know if you need the link. It only requires the first 8 digits of your 10 digit order number so your order remains safe and confidential. We used it last year and it was really helpful considering the shambles that unravelled with miss-selling of delivery dates to secure orders!

Looks like people over on O2 are starting to get DPD notifications, hopefully EE start to get things going tomorrow!

Nothing from Apple Site as of yet (I’ve ordered directly with Apple) although an EE customer

So I pre-ordered on the EE app, got through at 1:08pm and processed my upgrade. Got a confirmation email at 2:13pm. I got an xko confirmation, which after reading the thread here, I got slightly worried about. I called EE today to make sure everything was okay and he confirmed my order had been processed. I asked whether I should expect delivery on the 20th and he said he thought it would be extremely likely as I'd pre-ordered so early. So hopefully it's all good? I always worry 😂

O2 must just be getting ready ahead of time, not an indication who will get theirs on launch day, it’s really early in the week. 

Yes! We had the exact same issue also with the upgrade fee - I preordered on day 1 for the iPhone 15 but as you probably already know a lot of orders got “stuck” or just “didn’t go through” so my contract start date ended up being 26th of October! This year surprise surprise they asked me and my partner to cough up £100 each for the “early upgrade fee” even though we shouldn’t be required to pay it! The EE store refused to help however when I called the guide I spoke to basically said good luck but it won’t be removed, so I asked him to escalate with management who removed the upgrade fee for both me and my partner as it truly wasn’t our fault! Saved £200!

They tried to the same with me too! Call them up (don’t bother going in store) and ask them again, if they refuse, ask to escalate with management - management approved both mine and my partner with no issue however the initial guide said it wouldn’t the possible!!!
