Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

Last year was a mess for EE, Let's hope things are different this year.

You might want to check the wording if your agreement as they've done away with the Anytime Upgrade product.

Well here we are again.. that year went soo fast!!

So,,,, called yesterday to upgrade at 12:52, on hold for about 20 minutes then started my upgrade. Got told they wanted a £100 fee because I wasn’t quite a year old yet (through no fault of my own). Got towards the end and he then informed me it was £300 fee because it was the Pro Max I had!! Pay £300 or wait 20 odd days and it will be free.. so cancelled the pre order..

Then I started reading this thread hearing people had their fee waved so I called again this morning, told the advisor what had happen and the reason it’s not a year yet is because of THEM not getting my handset out for 3 weeks after I pre ordered!!

He was the most chill and easiest advisor I have ever spoke to, waved the £300 straight away and put my order through nice and quick for the 16 PM WT 512gb!!

So.. the wait begins!! 😅😅

Equil I wondered if you was going to return with another SUPER THREAD 😂

I only had XKO number (didnt say i need to call them) and called yesterday (just in case) at 13:12 and the CS person told me its all good. I didnt need to call as i Was pre-verified or smth like that. So i dont yet have 00 number. I honestly dont know lol

one desert titanium and one natural. I got trancking starts with 004 for both of them

Big Tastey - we go again! Lol. Im not bad. Glad you managed to get your order in! 

And yeah, EE f’d up last year with miss selling and they know it. The early upgrade fee was always going to be something they can wavier as they introduced it knowing a lot of people would just pay it even thou it was their inaccurate - sometimes miss leading advice that people upgraded on pre-order last being made to believe they would get their device on release day! I challenged it straight off the bat and stated I upgraded late last year as I was miss sold my upgrade by EE who didn't have the device in stock come release day! (Words can be very powerful when delivered in the right context! ) so they wavered it there and then and did my upgrade. So glad I managed to get through just before 1pm as it was a madness at that time and probably still is! 

So wel see how this year bodes compared to last year. Good to have you back as we all take another journey together again on this EE x iPhone train… LOL

Lol literally got my order confirmation now.. with the 00 number. No mention of deliveey date as usual. So the wait begins. 

ordered at 13:10. PM in black titanium.

**update** - got a text now that itll be dispatched in 7 days!

Same just had DS call me , said my order wasn’t flagged however the agent gave me missing ifonearlier and that I am NOT guaranteed delivery day of release (even though my order when through at 13:02.)

but put a month credit on £100 for an apology so all good .

so now we sit and wait till Thursday to hear from
