Hello Again.
After last years MONUMENTAL thread became the second most popular thread on the entire website, (Over 400k views & 6k replies) I thought I'd make another for this years iPhone release. 

Just like last year let's use this thread purely for Tracking Preorders and any related discussion around it.

but the terms and conditions say there's no more anytime upgrades

This offer is only available to new and upgrading customers on a 24 month Smart Plan with an eligible device (or existing customers on a 24 month 8GB, 20GB, 60GB or 100GB 4GEE Max plan) who joined or upgraded before 29 August 2024.

That was my understanding as well, but the agent confirmed 3 times to me that it's still available, just not on Flex plans.

That's amazing. When was your free upgrade date if you don't mind me asking? Only because I pushed & pushed on the phone but the advisor wouldn't budge on waiving the upgrade fee for me this year! I did speak to someone this morning who told me they were still doing normal plans too 🙂

I received “Thank you for your order” email with xk number and all, but It doesnt say I need to call them. Do I still need to call em? I did it through the website very early on. It was an upgrade. Thanks!

My free upgrade wasn't due until the 20th. Last year I upgraded on Preorder day 1 and received the phone on release day too.

Hmmm, I'm unsure buddy as I've seen a number of folk on here saying they've still needed to call. I don't want to say yes or no, but if it was me, i'd still call just to be safe. Ik it's a long wait but it may just be worth it.

Understood mate, I do see what you're getting at but at this point why would the agent lie? 

I did clarify with him 3 times as to whether he was right and he even checked with his supervisor. 
I also called up yesterday as a general enquiry and that agent also told me the same thing. 

It's available, just not on Flex pay. Other forum users have also stated what I'm stating.

Did my anytime upgrade over the phone, said I didn’t have to move to FlexPay so have stayed on existing contract and can keep anytime upgrade. Did have to pay the £100 fee though as still 8 days away, they wouldn’t waive it. 16 Pro Max, 256GB in Black, due next Friday. Order number starting with 004 received and checked on the website.

Yeah just came through. 42 minutes on hold and about 25 minutes to confirm order and sign stuff online. Good luck for release day mate

I'm telling you now - you're not on an anytime upgrade. this was discontinued and it can't physically be added as a SOC on the system.
