iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

The outage looks like it's caused a lot of chaos. I ordered a Pro Max late yesteday, without issues, but my pre pay fee has turned up on my mobile bill. I called to confirm, and was told my order couldn't be processed and they will call me back tomorrow. I'm not expecting to get my order any time soon, as i only have an Xko number.

I bet, one of the advisors I spoke to yesterday said he only put one order though in 4hrs, absolute chaos.

I placed my order (512gb Blue PM) on the app around 2pm today, no issues, except I had to call to confirm some details. On hold for 30 minutes and took 20 minutes to sort. The chap said they’ve been told by Apple everyone who has order up to this point, and maybe a bit later on too, I assume, they are aiming to get the devices to them on the 22nd, but could possibly be the following Monday or Tuesday. 
Also that the guide of ‘within X number of days’ is to manage expectations

If you have a XKO number, call them to check the order or message live chat and they’ll give you the correct order number

That's what I did, i gave them the XKO and they said they couldn't process it yet. I think they are playing catch up from yesterday.

Ah jeez, in that case then it’s a waiting game. Once they can, I’m sure they’ll call you back or notify you to finish the order and get it sorted

Okay guys, this is the first time I’m posting a response to one of these threads… I’ve been upgrading every year since the XS Max 

So I started my pre-ordering process, I’m on the anytime upgrade. At 1 pm, I was on the hold for about half an hour before the call cut off. I then called again and waited for another half an hour before I got through to a customer rep, he took down my details because he said the system was down and he couldn’t process the order. So I told him what I wanted which was a 512 GB 15 pro max in natural titanium. He then said he will process the order once the system comes back up online and he would give me a call back.

I called back again. This time I was on hold for about 45 minutes 15 minutes before I spoke to someone, they had No  Record of my order even being started… I went through the whole process with this customer rep, who manually went through the entire process with me, even to the terms and conditions with me. He assured me that nothing needed to be done now, and that everything was sorted.  I called again an hour later, just to confirm everything was done, and another customer rep said that the order has not gone through, and that I will have to call back on Saturday to make sure everything was done. I then left it for a few hours, I called again and spoke to another customer rep who said they had absolutely no record of my order even being started. So I called again one last time in the night and this customer rep told me that they could see the order and that he processed it and that everything was okay and I had nothing to worry about.

So just to make sure everything was okay. I called back first thing Saturday morning and the customer rep said they had no history of my order and nothing had been done LOL  

And so he started a whole new order with me again and that’s when I finally was able to place an order for a 15 Pro Max in natural titanium in the 512 GB specification. I got the 003 number straight away and just like pretty much all of you guys here it says awaiting confirmation and I was told that it will be shipped within 14 days, so let’s see what happens…

But as many have said here this has probably been the most long and frustrating experience I have ever had to go through with EE. On the other hand, I did a straight trade-in with my wife’s iPhone 14+ and the iPhone 15+ which I ordered for her was processed within a few minutes and her phone will come on launch day… It’s not the end of the world, these are first problems, but these are problems nevertheless haha

But yeah, interesting to read your comments and let’s see what happens with the next few days… at least we know for sure we are getting the iPhone 👊🏽

Jeez, hopefully we’ll all get confirmation soon 🤞 seems like next week once they start preparing to ship we might get something, otherwise it’s checking the DPD app

Usually we start seeing movement in the DPD app around Wednesday evening or Thursday…. So best to have your DPD app set up with your delivery address and phone number!
