Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Appears not. It has been very quiet recently - seems like nothing has gone out since last Monday. It seems a bit strange.

How did you actually get the credit? When i called up they said under no circumstances can they provide credit?

Someone originally said that EE didn’t order enough from Apple - maybe that was true.

Hi, it's all about how you are on the phone. Remember it's not the person or people you speak to on the phone. fault.
In my personal experience, i have always got better results by phoning and speaking to them, rather than the chat.
Ref this thread. Mention it as an official ee community forum. as soon as they mention the "First come, First served" rubbish. In fact, read off some of the posts. offer to send them a link to the thread.
Tell them you are not happy with the way you have been treated. mention considering they are supposed to be the UK's number one network you have experienced very bad customer service. mention 0 contact of them 0 updates.
tell them you wish to make a complaint, and tell them whatever they told you when you pre-ordered the phone. the pre-order has turned into a fiasco. Tell them you are thinking of leaving EE and that you wish to escalate your complaint and even ask to speak to a manager.(only a manager can authorize any gestures of goodwill over a certain amount.).
You have to basicly plead your case. they might try and offer say £10 just say "sorry that is not good enough" you have to be firm but fair with them.
Again they say "due to unprecedented demand. the demand has been very high this year." you must reply "I'm sorry to hear this and understand. but this is not a customer problem, it is not the customer's fault",
If you have telephoned or spoken to different people and been given different replies now is the time to mention this. mentiu you have been maybe unintentionally but you have been lied to. again stress this is not very good customer service.
Sorry, its a long post but something like this you have to do but only do it on the phone never via chat.

Feeding my newborn and watch popped up with a DPD, I read it so fast and didn’t realise first time over it’s from Google and it’s my replacement Nest Thermostat🙃
I think they’re playing games with me now…🤣

Called EE CS today for update of my Iphone 15PM NT 256GB prebooked on 15th of September 18:00 . They said phone will be dispatched and will be delivered tomorrow by EOD . Order number 0033074 . Lets see if i get any notifications from DPD tomorrow morning! Lots of information from this community & really helpful. I think people whoelse are waiting for the same make and model, cheer up your shiny new devices are on the way.

DPD will be pick it from us by tomorrow and you'll receive the notification for the same.
and then you'll receive the exact information about the delivery date.
10th or 11th Oct.
That's why I mentioned 1-2 days above 😊
