Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Just replying to my previous post - I re-connected with a different agent and they said this (copy and paste from the chat page):

 

I have checked the details and can see your order is in advance shipping stage and once the item is shipped you will get the tracking details of your order.
I would not be able to comment on the delivery time frame because delivery time is set by the carrier based on availability of delivery person at the time.

I would request you to please wait till your estimated delivery date and our team will deliver your order.
May I know if you wish to make any changes to your order?

And I then asked them to clarify the advance shipping stage, then they said this -
 
Advance shipping stage is when your order is assigned to DPD and is pending for pick up.

Can I be the bearer of bad news for a lot of people?

Ive usually been one of the first to order almost every Pro Max last few years from EE.

Every single time it’s come a day late.

So don’t bother with this first come first serve business. They let me down every year and I don’t expect anything different this year.

I’ve just got bad luck.

256gb Pro Max Natural Titanium, got xko reference email at 13:12 and 330 reference email at 14:40, Friday 15th. 

Just spoke with Live Chat and my order is “picked”. The guy wouldn’t commit to anything but says stock is allocated and should be with me very soon.

Similar to other, I messaged an analyst over the chat service to confirm my pre-order is all good, and they said mine is now in “advance shipping stage”, indicating it has been “picked” and awaiting DPD assignment.
