Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I’ve tried on chat and they have no tools and basically pointless. I’ve called so many times but tbh i was more worried about the iPhone order 😂

Hi guys ,
my experience has been that called on Friday for upgrade anytime but like most mentioned systems were down and was promised a call back .
Then on Friday late evening thought I try on my EE app and the order went through surprisingly and also received an email with XKO number and also to call and confirm some details .
Then called but systems still down and later on went on chat a nice fella processed it for me and received an order number containing 030 digits today which now tracks .
No idea when I will get the phone as I ordered IPhone 15 Pro Max 512GB in titanium black .
Normally would go for the 255GB but the 512GN was only £3 more per month .

To those who don’t have an order number for their new iPhone upgrade, I’d recommend calling in to check if the upgrade was pushed through properly. There were server issues on Friday. My upgrade on Friday was supposedly processed, but I learnt here in the re community that some people were not getting their order numbers. I decided to call in and check, my upgrade wasn’t pushed through properly. Rye advisor apologised and sited the server issue on Friday. He cancelled the one done on Friday and redid it. Immediately, I got my confirmation email with order number.

That’s right, I had to go through the exact same process… my order on Friday never went through and re did the the whole thing on Saturday and got the email confirmation star right after with the 03 number.

I contacted yesterday to find out if mine has went through as I still haven’t received an email with an order number but did receive it off online chat but can’t track it, still order starting with 02 and this is what I have been told:
15th September is showing as order issued date on account.
The deliveries are starting from 22nd
September and the estimated delivery timeline from the DPD end is 24 to 48 hours of every order which will deliver on first come first serve basis only.

I'm deeply disappointed with the service I received from EE when attempting to purchase the new iPhone.
I placed the order (Order Number: xko) at ~13:30 but had to endure a gruelling 7 hours on hold.
When I did manage to connect with a representative, they couldn't access the order system, resulting in lost time.
After finally succeeding at 20:10, they were unable to find my order... Which meant having to reorder!
(Order # 003)
While one sales representative was polite at 20:10, the overall experience was unacceptable.
Utter shambles.

I placed my order friday teatime I received an order confirmation number beginning xko i have contacted ee today to check the order went through they have managed to take my upfront payment but cant find my order on the system said to wait another 24-48 hours and it might show up and to contact them again to check what an absolute shambles ee is

Hi guys,
Just spoke to customer service, they said they never have stock for pro max to be sent on launch day. Assured that I'm in front of the queue so I should get it as soon as but wait time is up to 28 days. (I ordered on 15/9 pro max natural)
I think I should have just waited to go into store on launch day to get it

I will wait till Friday once it is definitely clear there’s no delivery before deciding to cancel the upgrade and change to SIMO.
