Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Also to make it even better… this CS rep tried to tell me that no one has received the PM yet as they have none in stock. Explained my partner had his release day through sky and that a lot of people got texts last night about getting there’s tomorrow, but he was adamant that not a single person with EE had a pro max model yet 😂

I’m in the same waiting period. Absolutely no chance I’ll be getting another pre-order from EE.

It’s extremely frustrating isn’t it? I’ve had no communication from EE at all and they’re supposed to inform you if your device will not be dispatched within 30 days of release. This has been a shambles and i just cannot fathom how they are getting away with this level of service. I’m going to let my contract run its course and move companies in a couple years as I’m over it. The most expensive network cannot even handle a pre-order 🙄 whats even more of a kick in the teeth is my new contract is £20 cheaper with more data… so I have to keep paying the higher bill for a couple more months 😂

I mentioned to them about the issue of difference in price bc my new contract is about £15 p/m cheaper than my old one, and they told me they automatically credit you back based on any delays with the new handset being sent out. I’m just gonna ring them once my phone arrives and ask for the credit anyway.

 

They did give me a £10 “gesture of goodwill” credit onto my bill for the delay, but said any further compensation would only be explored once the handset is delivered and they can see how long the delay actually was

When you say you upgraded? Did you upgrade the app and pay a fee for the quicker delivery option?

I went onto my Delivery on the DPD App, went into the Chat Bot, clicked on Change My Delivery and the VIP Delivery option came up, so I paid £4.99 to get the guaranteed 12-6pm slot tomorrow 😀

Dpd just messaged, 15 pro max 1TB orderd 15/09 email confirmed 20:04 hope some 1TB naturals get yours soon been a long wait. Im J on the speadsheet

Had put my phone down to cook lunch and step away from the madness. I have returned to a text from DPD with a pin. 1 TB PM Nat ordered 15/09. The journey is almost over, I’ve paid a delivery fee when ordering and haven’t yet had anything for returning my 14 PM

I'm hoping my DPD Tracking updates soon, still just says they are expecting my parcel from EE from last night - I swear if this gets lost that will be my breaking point 😥
