Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

i called them yesterday, they said it was all out of stock and the website has not been updated yet, congratulations, you just shot yourself to the back of the que xD xD

Has anyone had there black 512 notification yet?

Just on phone to EE and told could be over a month still for mine! Pro Max NT 512GB.. order number 0033200 and said I could swap to blue but dont like it... so I wait for maybe a month more!

To be fair, it could be a month yes but I wish I got a 512GB as if I did I would have had it by now, seems they don't get stock as often (quite random it seems tbh) but when they do they cover quite a lot of the list, I have seen many 00331XX orders fulfilled or DPD notification for 512GB models whereas I am 256GB PM NT and they haven't even made it to my number 0033094 yet

Also told when they did my order they put down to send texts from DPD to my watch number so I wont get any texts about order as the watch only gets texts come up from my mobile number that's not the same and they can't change it till DPD have it so they can tell them so I'll have it come in a month to not be able to take it because i wont have pin so will then have to call EE to update DPD for day later. They did this crap before. Why can't they not mess things up or worse fix anything..

That's ridiculous, what is the point in the Apple Watch having it's own number when it can't receive anything, I thought they had their own number and could receive texts to that number separately as a standalone device, shows further incompetence in their system to not have it set up so that cannot be the contact number for an order or even making sure your phone is the main/ default number would work but seems too much for them!

Just spoke to EE about the lack of movement RE. White PM 256gb models. Apparently this is the device with the least amount of stock coming in but is fairly popular so shipments aren’t happening as much with this device as they are with the others. He called the warehouse and apparently they are expecting a load to be sent to them this week to fulfil some orders. 

This part I believe as I think I’ve read in a few places that the white iPhone is the one that is suffering the most from supply issues.

I mentioned that I am due to go on holiday at the end of the month and he’s flagged it to the warehouse to ask them to try to ship my phone sooner. Not sure how true this is but he asked me to call back again on Fri to check the progress of the shipment as they should have more information / devices then.

I don’t believe a word of this as I’ve been told all the way down the line there is nothing that can be done about my space in the queue and that they can’t get the device to me any quicker, I think he just wanted me off the phone. But he’s out a note on my file and I will call Friday as he’s asked and chase the shipment.

The watch has it's own number though it's never used as when paired to your phone it basically takes on your mobile number so they all work tougher so if someone calls your phone and you dont have your phone with you it can take the call as if you had the phone.
