Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

A new day, a new week.
Our community spreadsheet grows ever bigger, with more and more people waiting for any movement on their order.
You can view the sheet here, or if you'd like to add yourself to the list, you do that here. Just remember in your excitement if you get a DPD notification to let us know, either on this forum or by leaving a comment on the spreadsheet (Ideally comment on a cell with your name or order number in).

Well when I spoke to cs the other day I was told 14 days from order, and this morning they said 28. It’s now been 14 days since I ordered and I haven’t had no update. So guess it will comes when it comes lol

Just looking at the sheet, I assume with your name being second from the top you placed your order on the 16th early? Crazy to think you haven’t received your device yet! More frustrating knowing I pre-ordered the following morning and will have an even longer wait! Still, positive thoughts - this week wel see movement for you early birds that will give the rest of us hope. 🤞🏾

I’ve spoken to a number of people on this, and they’ve advised that the warehouse have targets to reach and phones have to be dispatched 30 days from dates of order / pre-order date. If they cannot achieve this then they have to contact you to inform you that your phone will be delayed.
”Whenever you pre-order (i.e. order a device before it is launched), or order a device that is currently out of stock, we will aim to send it to you within 30 days either of the launch date (pre-orders) or of your order (out of stock devices). Sometimes, due to demand, we will not be able to send it to you within this time. If so, we will let you know and if you are unhappy to wait more than 30 days, you can cancel this order. This means we will refund any deposit or amount you have paid for the device and cancel your account. If you are an upgrading customer, and you decide to cancel this kind of order, you’ll still have to pay for any services used before cancelling.”
I ordered mine on the Sunday 17th, and was told around 28 days. I’ve spoken to people in store & to a manager, who said that if you ordered on pre-order weekend, your phone should be with you within 28 days.
I would potentially prepare for worse case scenario of having to wait until Nov, but if it is longer than the anticipated date of 28 days, then EE will need to contact you to let you know.
I’ve spoken to a few people on live chat and tbh none of them seem to know what they’re talking about. One lady told me I would have a tracking number in 48 hours, when I called up this was a complete fabrication and inaccurate. Don’t believe everything they say.

Gave upgrades a call as I haven't called them since pre-ordering and it's still a 28 day wait, going by the tracking list here which is only a small sample size there is only 9 1TB NT PM phones in this thread and we're still waiting and I ordered as early as the systems allowed me to (over the phone) which was 10am on the 16th.
Absolutely ridiculous wait times for early pre-orders, considering EE systems were down for the majority of the entire day on the 15th you can barley even count that day as EEs first pre-order day.

I've just had a text about my plan coming up to the end (sim only currently). I'm going to assume I'll just ignore this while I wait for my Pro Max. I must admit I got a bit too excited when I saw it was from EE before I read it 😂

The thing that baffles me is they know - apple know that the phone will be in demand, there should be enough stock and then some!

I ordered on 15th at 4.40pm

From Appleinsider......1st October....
In the UK, the iPhone 15 and Plus lead times stayed static at 15 days each. The Pro moved from 35 days to 28 days, and the Pro Max from 59 days to 44 days.
Delivery lead times are starting to improve for the iPhone 15 generation post-launch, but not quite to the levels of the iPhone 14 collection.
The third week of J.P. Morgan's Product Availability Tracker indicates delivery lead times have started to moderate. This is fairly typical to observe, and mirrors lead time trajectories of previous years.
According to the tracker, lead times moderated by four days over the past week, with the bulk of change occurring on the high-end models The non-Pro models remained "largely unchanged."
For global lead times, the at-home delivery timing for the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus was 17 days for both models in week 3, the same as in week 2. The iPhone 15 Pro saw a drop from 36 days to 29 days, while the Pro Max went from 54 days to 46 days.
