Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

May I ask what is a source of this information? Do you know someone working at EE ? or are you working there?

I don’t understand why they would be saying something ‘on script’ if it wasn’t true to have more disappointed customers? Where do you know this information from?

It can’t be from the day I order because over 14 days have gone by. On the phone someone from EE initially told me 14 days from pre-order date and then they put me on hold to go check if this was indeed the case and came back with 14 days from release date.

That’s just what I was advised, I did order on release date though, so potentially that is from release  date.

Just for information really. 
So Apple’s home of the USA usually gets the biggest share of new handsets. It’s interesting to read the lead times that the major retailers (including Apple) have for the handsets. 
EEs size isn’t really an impact on the world ordering stage for Apple.

Good to hear! The lead time begins from release date! This Friday will be 14 days so I’m hoping I get that elusive text this week from DPD! Fingers crossed. 🤞🏾
