Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Unfortunately, EE have said Apple did not supply them with the stock that was promised. This is the case for the other major network providers. Hence why so many people were told they were going to get it on the first day. 

The website said “within 14 days” online even for the very first person who ordered. 

 

The mistake they made was not informing all staff to relay this message to the customers. Many staff were promising customers they’d receive their phone on the first day. 

We basically cannot do anything until Apple themselves supply some phones. 


If you haven’t done so already I recommend getting in contact and claiming the £30 compensation they’re giving out to customers who were promised earlier delivery. 

But I agree they NEED to keep us fully informed as well as their staff.

Well, the iPhone 16 sheet is all written and ready to go, with Pro & Pro Max, confirmation email timestamps. The fun will continue in 12 months

I've been following this thread since I ordered my new phone. I'm not into conspiracy theories, but I'm wondering if Apple might delay deliveries for the iPhone 15 Pro/15 Pro Max in favor of the iPhone 15/15 Plus. The iPhone 15/15 Plus doesn't seem to be a big hit so far, which makes sense since it might be more preferable to buy, let's say, the iPhone 14 Pro instead. I think there is more to the story behind the scenes that we don't know yet.

I've ordered the 15 PM 512GB in Black Titanium online on the 15th, confirmed my order by phone on the 18th, and I'm still waiting for an update.

For the record, I've received my phone today. it's 512gb Blue iphone pro max.

It’s been a total faff.

My issue is the lying. I made my order on launch day and then got confirmation email at 12:58, so I’d of been one of the first. I find out when I ring at 8am next day the order is completely lost, sure fine ok….

But then to be promised I’ll get it launch day if I reordered on the phone with them that morning, just took the pee.. As they essentially locked me in then waiting thinking I have one, then to not get one launch day I’ve got to scramble and took me a week to find an alternative. I’d of rather been told Saturday morning no chance of launch day, then I could have spend time trying to secure one that morning elsewhere. 

Then when I make complaint, no discount or compensation offered, basically told to stuff it I take it to ombudsman. They lost me as a customer and my wife.
