iPhone 15 & 15 Pro Preorder Tracking Thread

Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Could I pry a little further with what issues etc? I'm wondering if the 15 Plus might be a better option there seems to be very little online issue wise that I could see.

This doesn't mean anything. Just a generic message added to peoples order. Something is better than nothing, as it were.

Agreed. And judging by the worksheet everyone adding their details too, they’re not filling orders first come first served. It is very much a lotto as and when stock becomes available who it is allocated too. Even if CS could speak to the warehouse to check stock, and lets say their are 1000 iPhones received today - there is no guarantee - regardless of when you placed your order (even on the 16th first in queue) one of those will be allocated to you!

It is very much a waiting game at this point! Hence placing an order on Apple website with a trade in to compare and see who will fore-fill my order the quickest.  

EE v  Lol. Gotta have fun with the sheer nonsense of it or one will be pulling their  hair over a situation we have zero control over.  🤷🏾‍♂️

Currently they are overheating. Not everyone’s granted but there are reports in the news and the media. There’s no fix currently unless Apple rolls out an update. They speculate it’s either the new build or the a17 as it’s highly powered but all in all I’m not taking the gamble, if it’s software great they’ll roll a fix but if it’s not it could be a nightmare 

as I said who knows if it’s just a batch

My mate got the black 256 PM delivered last Saturday and he’s had zero issues.

Going to attempt to call them and see what they say over the phone, my partner is going to stick with the PM i think, but I may go down to the Plus. The PM has some "nice to have"s but I don't believe a phone is worth waiting 6+ weeks for especially if you pre-order on the day of the pre-order releasing.

I have the 15 Pro, managed to buy one when I knew I wasn't going to get the PM on day 1.  I had a heating problem (pop up message saying charging would be paused till the temperature dropped?  This was while I was doing the transfer from one iPhone to the other.  Can't say I have had any heating issues since.  Battery life was dreadful for the first few days.  Instagram and Telegram were using a lot more battery than on previous phones.   I uninstalled both apps and only reinstalled Telegram.  Since then battery has been decent.
