Hey Guys,

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Have to say, guys. I'm not happy with what has happened but at the end of the day, i am on several forums, and i have to all of the big UK telecoms providers have the same issues.

I really do feel for the guys on customer services. i just feel they were let down by their managers. they can only tell us what they have been told to tell us.

What they should do is compensate us. Just be honest with us.

Sorry, i do feel, that those who say "I'm going to leave ee over this" whilst it is a pain to not receive their phones today, need a reality check, Its not the end of the world. you will get your phone.

Well I PM 512 blue arrived and 1 ultra 2 arrived. Let’s hope the PM 512 natural arrives within the 14 days promised

My Pro Max Natural Titanium 256GB was just delivered, bit of a faff with DPD pin but all ok now.

Whats the point of a pre-order then if its arriving  late, that just defeats the whole purpose if I’m gonna end up getting the phone  i pre ordered weeks or, like with the iphone 14 over a month later.

The leave EE thing isn't about not receiving phone in time it's about lack of customer service. I have been with EE for 2 years and O2 for longer before that. The thing that gripes me are the blatent lies when I was told I would get it Friday when I pre ordered the phone.

So I am tempted to cancel and go somewhere like Sky where customer service is better. Not bothered if I have to wait longer for a phone but at least I know the customer service is better.

Ahhhh that's where the info might have came from, just found it strange, because when I enquired about a new physical sim (I sometimes swap between additional phones for short periods), I was basically told 'no point, it's eSIM only this year, and even if we wanted to give you one, you couldn't use it in the phone since this year they've removed the slot' - which at the point of sale - generally has to be absolute truth, otherwise certain laws are being potentially broken.

Guess I'll need to wait a month or however long these delays are before I find out if I can get a new SIM then!

Well I have received my confirmation that my order is out for delivery with DPD which is good news. The bad news is that for some reason my line has been restricted. My bill was produced on the 21st of this month and is not due to come out until the 29th of this month which is for £61 but upon trying to make a call there saying I need to make a payment of £170 to get my line back on which will not be happening. So looks like as much has they have messed up people’s orders they have also messed up plans as well so just keep an eye out ladies and gents

Yep I got told I’d get it today, just off the phone to them to be told it’s within 28 days and I was misinformed.

If you want to be compensated make sure to call up. They gave me £30 credit (should be more to be honest but better than nothing) due to promising me it would arrive today but it hasn’t.

I ordered at 13:00 and got my confirmation email at 13:07. (15 PM Natural titanium 256GB). No 003 tracking and nothing from DPD. Been told by EE it can take up to 14 days.
