Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Super frustrating as I was on the phone to order on Friday, called back Saturday but they wouldn’t put through the pre-order. Finally let me do it on Sunday so they really delayed my order themselves. So angry at the poor CS

Oh wow that’s really pants. I had to call up on Friday as the online order said to call after getting the order email with xko number . System kept glitching and it was touch and go but order went through and email with 03 number straight away!

I ordered on pre order day somehow and been told it’s coming Friday and the order is now confirmed and getting ready for shipment 🤞 now we wait for DPD to pick it up

I've pre-ordered iPhone 15 Pro Titanium Black last Saturday in EE shop (payed £25), I've been told it will come to the shop on Friday, I will keep you updated once I have it

In the same boat as most of the people on here - very confused. I placed an order for the 15 PM Natural 256GB as soon as pre order opened on 15th at 1pm. Placed it directly on the phone, did not go through website or receive xko number etc. After order got a sms that read order was confirmed - but nothing else. Called up CS on Saturday and was given a reference number starting with 0257. Was told to wait for DPD.
Tried the chat today after so many people on here getting assuring replies; heres what I got:-
"Great News! Your order have been picked as well and you might get the order on the launch date that is 22 Sep."
"The number which you are trying to enter to track your order is not a tracking number it is order reference number, once the order is in shipped status you will get the tracking number to track, you have to wait till 21st to get the tracking number. It will automatically be send on your email/text message."
Experience is quite different from a lot of the orders here, so fingers crossed we get them on Friday!

11:58 on Friday. online initially with XKO number, got the message to call to confirm my order and then got a 0330 number over the phone.

Just posting here to give everyone some optimism. I’ve been in touch regularly with a few senior team members for a while now due to a number of issues with my EE account recently. I’ve had two complaints that have been treated very seriously and professionally.
I pre-ordered the 15 Pro Max in 512gb White Titanium on Friday at 1:01 pm. The phones were actually available on the website around 12:50 pm, and from the get go, the 15 Pro Max in all colours and storage tiers had a “within 14 days” expectation.
Speaking with the team about this, they said the Pro Max had this “delay” from the start to manage expectations. The decision (I’m told) was based on past demand for the Pro Max model, and anticipation for this years Pro Max was higher than ever due to the new tetraprism camera.
I’ve just been speaking with the senior team once more, and queried what’s happening with my order.
They said “I have your order showing as Picked. Your delivery should be good for Friday. Get the DPD app downloaded and you’ll get all the tracking information there.”
I asked “So, does a picked order generally mean that a unit of stock has physically been allocated and it’s actually available?”
Their response was: “Yes. Orders go from Open > Picked > Dispatched so I’m confident you’ll have your device on Friday. If there’s a delay with your item, it would remain in Open status, or move from Open > Backordered as we approach the devices release date.”
I’m hopeful the senior team have some knowledge of what they’re talking about. They’ve been really good at dealing with everything else I’ve had issues with recently. Fingers crossed for you all.

This is so frustrating, I ordered at 13:00 on Friday by phone and got a text conf, called at 5pm on Friday as didn’t get email conf and said all is ok. Then called on the Saturday and the agent said the order didn’t go thru so had to place a new order…now won’t get on launch day 😞

Are you sure? My understanding is that pre order wasn't available until 1pm for EE so 11:58am should be impossible.
